Nicholas Simon
Nicholas Andrew Simon (Rockford, 21 marzo 1969) è un produttore cinematografico statunitense naturalizzato ungherese, candidato a un Premio Emmy.
Biografia
Nato a Rockford nel 1969, Nicholas Simon è cresciuto a Beloit[1]. Ha frequentato la Phillips Academy, diplomandosi nel 1987, prima di conseguire il Bachelor of Arts presso l'Università Columbia nel 1992. Durante gli studi ha debuttato come ciclista professionista[2].
Nel 1993 si è trasferito ad Hanoi con l'intento di diventare giornalismo, per poi fondare la società di produzione cinematografica Sud-Est Productions[3]. Nel 2009 si è trasferito, assieme alla moglie e la figlia, a Bangkok dove ha istituito la Indochina Productions, con la quale ha prodotto numerosi progetti internazionali, tra cui Da 5 Bloods - Come fratelli e Tyler Rake[4].
Dal 2012 da parte del consiglio di amministrazione del Luang Prabang Film Festival, oltre ad essere membro della Producers Guild of America e della Production Guild UK[5]. Nel 2020 ha fondato un'altra società di produzioni audiovisive, la Studio Muso[6].
