NGC 3444 è una lontana galassia a spirale vista di taglio e situata nella costellazione del Leone, a una distanza di circa 469 milioni di anni luce dalla nostra Via Lattea.[1]
Scoperta
La galassia è stata scoperta il 25 marzo 1865 dall'astronomo tedesco Albert Marth.[1]
Descrizione
NGC 3444 ha una classe di luminosità II-III e presenta una larga riga a 21 cm dell'idrogeno neutro.[2]
