Evelio Rosero Diago (Bogotà, 20 marzo 1958) è uno scrittore e giornalista colombiano.

Biografia

Nato a Bogotà nel 1958, ha studiato Scienze della Comunicazione all'Universidad Externado de Colombia[1].

Ha esordito nel 1979, a 21 anni, con il racconto Ausentes ottenendo il Premio Nacional del Cuento Gobernación del Quindío mentre il suo primo romanzo, El eterno monólogo de Llo, è stato pubblicato nel 1981[2].

Autore di numerosi romanzi, racconti e letteratura young, tra i riconoscimenti ottenuti si ricorda il Premio Tusquets de Novela del 2006[3] e l'Independent Foreign Fiction Prize del 2009[4] entrambi vinti per il romanzo Eserciti.
