Il collegio elettorale di La Chambre è stato un collegio elettorale uninominale del Regno di Sardegna in provincia di Chambéry. Fu istituito con il Regio editto del 17 marzo 1848; comprendeva il mandamento di La Chambre, i distretti esattoriali di Hermillon e Saint-Jean-d'Arves, e il mandamento di Aiguebelle[1].

Con la redistribuzione dei collegi prevista dalla legge del 20 novembre 1859 il territorio divenne parte del collegio elettorale di Aiguebelle[2][3].

Le votazioni si svolsero in 222 collegi uninominali a doppio turno. Come previsto dal decreto n. 680 del 17 marzo 1848, era eletto al primo turno il candidato che «riunisce in suo favore più del terzo dei voti del total numero dei membri componenti il collegio e più della metà dei suffragi dati dai votanti presenti all'adunanza» (art. 92). Se nessun candidato era eletto, al ballottaggio tra i due candidati con più voti era eletto chi otteneva il maggior numero di voti (art. 93) o, in caso di ugual numero di voti, il maggiore d'età (art. 94).

Il 4 agosto la Camera ordinò un'inchiesta per sapere se fossero vere certe irregolarità denunziate, relative a liste elettorali di Comuni non trasmesse ai seggi delle sezioni, e se realmente fossero avvenute intimidazioni morali e atti di corruzione[4] — Il 18 settembre, in seguito alle conclusioni dell'inchiesta, l'elezione venne convalidata[5][3].

Nella tornata dell’11 gennaio 1858 la Camera deliberò un'inchiesta parlamentare per conoscere di pressioni, corruzioni e coazione morale che erano state esercitate in quel periodo elettorale. Sulle conformi conclusioni del relatore, la Camera annullò l'elezione il 15 giugno 1858[3]. Il collegio fu riconvocato.
