A Time and a Place è un cofanetto antologico in 4 CD del gruppo progressive rock britannico Emerson, Lake & Palmer, pubblicato nel 2010. Prende il nome dal loro omonimo brano del 1971.

Descrizione

Il box set riunisce un corpo selezionato di esibizioni dal vivo, catturate davanti al pubblico di tutto il mondo durante la carriera e il mandato della band all'estremità acuta del rock progressivo. Esso presenta registrazioni di tavola armonica di qualità sui primi tre dischi e registrazioni del pubblico sul quarto. La raccolta è stata elogiata dai fan e nelle recensioni degli album per la qualità delle registrazioni della tavola armonica, nonché per l'ampia varietà di brani presenti sui dischi. Essa appartiene ad una serie di pubblicazioni di bootleg ufficiali della Shout! Factory e al produttore David Skye, con la benedizione e la partecipazione degli artisti per fornire ai fans solo le migliori performance, registrazioni di altissima qualità, packaging superiore e con copertine originali disegnate dall'illustratore William Stout, noto a livello internazionale come uno dei primi artisti di copertine dei bootleg di rock'n'roll.
