There's no point waiting for more votes. Also, you shouldn't delete your old talk pages - it would be advisable to restore what you have deleted. Archive them if you want, but it's considered very inappropriate to delete discussion page history. It could be held against you in the future... Chag sameach, DLandTALK 00:44, 18 April 2006 (UTC) French HillI moved this from above and added the username and timestamp from history TewfikTalk 21:49, 16 May 2006 (UTC) Another bullshit editing job Tewfik. French Hill is not "sometimes considered" a settlement, it's always considered a settlement except by the government of Israel. Your editing is not even handed, it's biased to reflect the Israeli position, not that general consensus. Wiki standard is verifiability and I provided it for every factual statement, including international opinion on the status of French Hill, using Israeli sources in almost every case and using reputable sources in all other cases. Also now there are footnotes without links in the references, the page looks more confused. Hack work. 2006-05-16 11:59:02 —Preceding unsigned comment added by JimmyJ (talk • contribs) Re:Efrat/aDidn't you commend me for moving the article to Efrata just the other month? Anyway, Efrata is an official and correct spelling and therefore does not violate and Wikipedia policies. Neither would Efrat, although I think it's preferrable to have an article of a city name than city name, Israel or city name (municipality), because readers would search for it that way. Efrat should stay a disambiguation page because it has more than one meaning. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 09:45, 23 May 2006 (UTC) I also just noticed that you moved Efrat to Efrat (disambiguation). Please discuss such moves because now it's impossible to move it back without the help of an admin - and XX (disambiguation) should only be made when one of the subjects is much important than all others, which is not the case here - Ephrath is just as important as the town of Efrat/a (also keep in mind my previous comment). -- Ynhockey (Talk) 10:14, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
JerusalemHi, please fix it, you seem to know better. As you may see, I rolled back several vandals and POV pushers. In my last edit, I was trying to reinstate edit by Masterpjz9. It sesms that either I or he (or both) did a sloppy job. Thanks. ←Humus sapiens ну? 02:19, 29 May 2006 (UTC) Hi, please vote here. --DLandTALK 15:25, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Thank youSholom. Ariel C 18:23, 1 June 2006 (UTC) Archive 3 - Talk:Israeli-occupied territoriesHi When I archived the talk page, I archived it to Archive 2. Archive 3 was created as an easy link for the creation of the next archive: it doesn't exist. I have clarified it on the talk page. Sorry for the confusion. -- Chris Lester talk 09:20, 4 June 2006 (UTC) SourcesHello Tewfik. That article is fine but it is general consensus about citing sources especially in longer articles. See section "Why sources should be cited" at WP:CITE. - Darwinek 09:30, 4 June 2006 (UTC) haifaThank you for your message, with regards to roling back my edits, these are facts and should be placed in the article, the massacre at the oil refinery is one of the main reasons that city is remembered and all necessery details should be included. Zcaky06 15:08, 5 June 2006 (UTC) Hi thanks for your reply, could you please explain the convention for organising pages that is used Zcaky06 01:37, 6 June 2006 (UTC) Israel's composition of LandI have noticed you have taken a keen interest in my participation on wikipedia, why did you revert my edits on the Israel article? Zcaky06 15:13, 5 June 2006 (UTC) Hi, the edits i intend to make may be quite sensitive and i would like everyone to have a chance to comment before i make the changes. As conventions are merely conventions and not hard and fast rules could you possibly hold off moving my post so that everyone gets to see the post. Thank you Zcaky06 02:01, 6 June 2006 (UTC) my editwhy did you change my edit, when i was changing it from inaccuracy to accuracy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.232.100.90 (talk • contribs) help pleaseThank you for saying hello to me the other day. I am puzzled by something: I made a few edits to Israel and Gaza Strip, but I think someone deleted my edits on purpose r something because thye are all gone. Could you look at my edit list and see my edits to those two articles and tell me what you think happened. Thank you. Ariel C. Did you?Hi did you re-direct the article biodiversity in Israel Palestine to Biodiversity in Israel If you did, why did not you discuss the re-direct on the discuss page? The article is about biodiversity in the whole region of Israel/Palestine. It is not a NPOV to call it only israel. This is not a political article. Lets not bring politics in it. Thank you. --Thameen 17:18, 6 June 2006 (UTC) I noted on User talk:Thameen that this accusation is incorrect. TewfikTalk 05:56, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Hey: Sorry about that, I thought it was an ex-husband or something like that posting the article. Excuse the virtorol, but I think someone removed the "General hospital bit," so it looked like a real person. V. Joe 04:19, 8 June 2006 (UTC) I had slapped a delete label on the article, because I thought it was a sick part of a divorce game. Must've been fixed before you looked at it.V. Please post your request at the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Judaism where there are many editors familiar with this subject. Sincerely, IZAK 08:48, 8 June 2006 (UTC) POVstop inserting your obviously pro israel POV into the D9 article. You can not argue that every orchad or home that has been demolished by Israel was done so to combat terrorism. Haroon LeghariDear Tewfik, What is your problem with the Noor Leghari profile?....how come you are so sure about everything you say about this particular scenario...were you there?....are you just going on what Noor Leghari would like the world to believe?.. tell me I am curious... as for me I am sure because everything I have seen and believe is based on fact... why are you so adament?....why will you not give this poor sole a chance to put his point of view...why are you so animated about the whole thing?...are you a relative or someone who is directly concerned with this matter? I think before one makes any assumption one should be fair and open minded... the fact that this could have happened and that no one has anything to gain from this being accepted and settled is a good thing...after all this man has spent 48 yrs or so not bothering anyone nor making a fuss about it...you know this... what has he gained by claiming to be this mans son if he is not.. if he is not he could have easily been pursuing some person if at all this is true claiming his rights as a son...and dont you think if the truth is that someone else is his father he can be spending his time ensuring his rights with that person... I have heard Haroon say many times he has no claim over his father other then he would like fair play and this finally to be put to bed... please think about this unfortunate person what he has had to endure all his life... dont you think he deserves justice...everyone is getting old and frail with time.. should this be left unresolved...and what will happen if Noor Leghari leaves this unresolved in his life time..it will spill over later in to the entire family he leaves behind...as there will be no love lost all hell will break loose as there will be noone to think of other then the stands individuals will take both morally and legally...do you think this bodes a good omen for the Leghari family... I sincerely hope that you will reason and give this entire sordid matter to be resolved and concluded... I hope your good sense and fairplay will play a part. A well wisher of Haroon Leghari.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.92.54.100 (talk • contribs) (note: this is in response to rv of a blind revert.) FYIhttp://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Israeli_apartheid&diff=60214117&oldid=60211838 looks to me like moving all the NPOV part to a seprate (botom ) section. what do you think ? Zeq 20:13, 23 June 2006 (UTC) Magen David AdomJust wondering why you reverted my edits on Magen David Adom that indicated the changes passed by the Red Cross Red Crescent on the day of that edit? Your reversion does not indicate the change of status of the Red Cross Red Crescent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by David A. Victor (talk • contribs) Your changes on the Anusim pagedramirezg .- Dear Tewfik; I am not sure what you refer to as "proper sources." The problem is that there are no proper sources, as most sources available do not know the origin of the word "Marrano," and use it carelessly without having second thoughts about it. As a Sefaradi I know this tradition orally, and I know that the word "Marrano" was not used in a Jewish enviroment until the 19th c. Go to the Inquisition records, the word "Marrano" does not appear. Go to Sefaradi literature from the 14th to the 19th c., the word "Marrano" does not appear. Those are your sources, and anyone has the capability to read and research the source material would agree with my asessment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dramirezg (talk • contribs)
ThanksThanks for explaining your changes to Magen David Adom. My main interest was in getting the change in status up there. Most of my entries deal with Michiganians, especially Native Americans (I have written several bios) and the odd article here and there... all of in which I am better verse and none of which is very controversial. so I might have gone astray with the tone of something whose tone is a bit subject to controversy in an area that I am not so aware of the tone needed. I am a big fan of the Red Cross Red Crescent though (I am in East Africa currently, where I have worked a bit with them), and wanted to update this change on the most criticized point (aside from the occasional mismanaged financial issue) about the organization of which I was aware. In any case, I noticed that the change in status was posted by someone today anyway. Thanks again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by David A. Victor (talk • contribs) The abovementioned image is still liable to be deleted. The fair use rationale on the image description page does not address all the 10 points of the fair use policy, especially point 1: No free equivalent is available or could be created that would adequately give the same information. --Kimchi.sg 08:49, 11 July 2006 (UTC) The point of criteria #1 is: As long as it is possible that you, me or someone else can take a picture of Eldad (since he is still alive, after all), we can't use a fair use photo of him on his article. It doesn't matter there isn't a free photo already; one can still be created. I know you're frustrated with this one, but it's policy and it's not going to be relaxed. :( I suppose this policy is to encourage people to take their own pictures for Wikipedia to distribute whenever possible, instead of getting copyrighted ones from elsewhere. So you could solve it by taking your own picture of him. If you feel like asking others to take the photo, put the {{reqphoto}} or {{reqphotoin|Israel}} template on the talk page of the article where the photo is. These will put the article into "photo requested!" categories. --Kimchi.sg 17:15, 11 July 2006 (UTC) The "more lenient" part of the fair use page describes our policy only in general terms. There might be slight differences whereby other language Wikipedias are more lax in their fair use policy. If you want to clarify what I'm saying is not a distortion of Wikipedia:Fair use, feel free to approach other administrators who handle a lot of image copyright issues, such as Drini or Howcheng. They are more experienced in copyright issues than I am. Regards, Kimchi.sg 07:26, 12 July 2006 (UTC) Your message to meIf you want to block me feel free to go right ahead, I have access to infinite amount of IP addresses. I'm not going to let you and your zionist friends on Wikipedia distort the truth even in an article as insignificant as Caterpillar D9. Oh yea and how bout the others who are reverting other change back much more than 3 times? That's alright with you since it supports your view point obviously. cheers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.144.210.13 (talk • contribs)
Why did you remove it?Why did you remove the "part of 2006 Arab-Israeli War"? Rangeley 20:27, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
SemiprotectGot your message. I still do not see widespread IP vandalism. Semi-protect needs to be used sparingly. The policy states, "Semi-protection should be considered if it is the only option left available to solve the problem of vandalism of the page, if the amount of vandalism is difficult for editors to keep up with. Like full protection, it is usually a last resort, not a pre-emptive measure." Hope you understand. May be another admin might feel otherwise. - Ganeshk (talk) 17:01, 14 July 2006 (UTC) Why ahve you reverted sourced content ?http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2006_Israel-Lebanon_crisis&diff=63815839&oldid=63815750 ???? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zeq (talk • contribs) 3RRYou have reverted several times today please self revert bfeore you may be blocked for violating 3RR. It is not "pssoible escaltion"These were the conditions for ending the crisis. They desrve at the top. Clearly your revert was not reverting vanadlaism so please aobbey the rules or you will be reported and might be blocked from editing. avoid reverting more than 3 times per 24 hours window (other than real, clear vandalsim) Zeq 17:49, 14 July 2006 (UTC) My welcomeHi Tewfik!
