Adding Pronunciation to the Igbo Phrasebook on Wikivoyage

This project is aimed at adding audio pronunciations to the Igbo phrasebook on Wikivoyage to enable any user of the phrasebook to pronounce those words correctly without guessing how they sound and in a less stressful way. It will involve uploading audio recordings for each word or phrase in the phrasebook to Wikimedia Commons and adding them to the right phrases to the Igbo phrasebook on WikiVoyage.

• Edit-a-thon end date - Saturday 20th of September 2025
• Time - 11:00PM UTC+1 (Check your local time zone)

At the end of this project, over 200 audio pronunciations will be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and added to the Igbo phrase book on Wikivoyage.
