Nurikabe

Nurikabe (bahasa Jepang Kanji: 塗壁, Hiragana: ぬりかべ) adalah yokai dalam folklor Jepang berwujud dinding atau dinding plester. Ia biasanya tidak terlihat, tetapi terkadang akan menampakkan diri sebagai tembok yang menyerupai gambar atau bentuk wajah manusia.[1] Nurikabe muncul di jalanan atau gang yang gelap di daerah pinggiran kota di hapadapan pengunjung atau orang asing yang sedang melalui jalan tersebut. Ketika muncul ia akan menghalangi dan menutupi jalan dan meluas ke arah samping sehingga tidak ada jalan unutk keluar dari Nurikabe.[2] Dikatakan bahwa untuk melaluinya atau menghilangkannya seseorang harus mengetuk bagian dasarnya menggunakan tongkat.[3]
