Direktorat Jenderal Perkebunan (disingkat Ditjenbun) adalah unsur pelaksana di lingkungan Kementerian Pertanian Republik Indonesia yang bertugas menyelenggarakan perumusan dan pelaksanaan kebijakan di bidang peningkatan produksi komoditas perkebunan dan hilirisasi hasil perkebunan, serta pembinaan usaha perkebunan berkelanjutan.[1]

Fungsi

Dalam melaksanakan tugas, Ditjenbun menyelenggarakan fungsi:[1]

  1. perumusan kebijakan di bidang perbenihan, budi daya, pelindungan, keamanan pangan, pascapanen, hilirisasi dan pemasaran hasil perkebunan, serta pembinaan usaha perkebunan berkelanjutan;
  2. pelaksanaan kebijakan di bidang perbenihan, budi daya, pelindungan, keamanan pangan, pascapanen, hilirisasi dan pemasaran hasil perkebunan, serta pembinaan usaha perkebunan berkelanjutan;
  3. penyusunan norma, standar, prosedur, dan kriteria di bidang perbenihan, budi daya, pelindungan, keamanan pangan, pascapanen, hilirisasi dan pemasaran hasil perkebunan, serta pembinaan usaha perkebunan berkelanjutan;
  4. pemberian bimbingan teknis dan supervisi di bidang perbenihan, budi daya, pelindungan, keamanan pangan, pascapanen, hilirisasi dan pemasaran hasil perkebunan, serta pembinaan usaha perkebunan berkelanjutan;
  5. pelaksanaan pemantauan, analisis, evaluasi, dan pelaporan di bidang perbenihan, budi daya, pelindungan, keamanan pangan, pascapanen, hilirisasi dan pemasaran hasil perkebunan, serta pembinaan usaha perkebunan berkelanjutan;
  6. pelaksanaan administrasi Direktorat Jenderal; dan
  7. pelaksanaan fungsi lain yang diberikan oleh Menteri.

Direktorat Jenderal Perkebunan terdiri atas:[2]

  • Direktorat Tanaman Semusim dan Rempah
  • Direktorat Tanaman Tahunan dan Penyegar
  • Direktorat Perlindungan Perkebunan
  • Direktorat Pengolahan dan Pemasaran Hasil Perkebunan

Untuk mendukung pelaksanaan tugasnya, direktorat jenderal ini memiliki tiga unit Balai Besar Perbenihan dan Proteksi Tanaman Perkebunan (BBPPTP) dan satu unit Balai Proteksi Tanaman Perkebunan (BPTP) sebagai berikut:[3]
