Cobaeoideae je botanička potporodica unutar porodice Polemoniaceae. Obuhvaća uglavnom tropske i suptropske rodove, koji se smatraju jednim od najstarijih (bazalnih) dijelova ove porodice. U ovu potporodicu spadaju rodovi poput Cobaea, Bonplandia i Cantua. To su najčešće drvenaste biljke ili penjačice, za razliku od većine drugih članova porodice koji su zeljasti. U nju je bila uključivan i rod Loeselia L.[1]
