ריצ'רד ויליאם "ריק" רייט (באנגלית: Richard William "Rick" Wright;‏ 28 ביולי 1943 – 15 בספטמבר 2008) היה הקלידן של להקת פינק פלויד.

חייו

רייט היה אחד ממייסדי הלהקה ב-1965 וכן חבר בגלגולה הקודם, סיגמה 6, ותרם תרומה משמעותית ליצירות של הלהקה, ובמיוחד ליצירות ארוכות כמו "Echoes" ו-"Shine On You Crazy Diamond". תרומותיו הפופולריות ביותר מבחינה מסחרית היו "The Great Gig in the Sky" ו-"Us and Them" מתוך האלבום "The Dark Side of the Moon".

בזמן הקלטות האלבום "The Wall", סולק רייט מהלהקה על ידי רוג'ר ווטרס עקב הידרדרות יחסיהם, ויש האומרים שגם בגלל התמכרותו של רייט לקוקאין. רייט התמודד באותה תקופה עם בעיות בחייו האישיים, ובמיוחד הגירושים מאשתו. בהופעות החיות שקידמו את האלבום ב-1980 וב-1981, הוא הועסק כנגן שכיר בלבד. למרבה האירוניה, הוא היה חבר הלהקה היחיד שהרוויח כסף מההופעות, שכן הוצאות ההפקה עלו על ההכנסות, ואת ההפסדים נאלצו לכסות חברי הלהקה האחרים מכיסם.

רייט השתתף בעבודה על האלבום "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" למרות שעדיין לא הצטרף מחדש ללהקה באופן רשמי. הוא הוחזר ללהקה כחבר רשמי לקראת הוצאת האלבום "Delicate Sound of Thunder" שיצא בסיבוב ההופעות לאחר מכן. באלבום "The Division Bell", הוא השתתף בכתיבת חמישה מהשירים ושר את השיר "Wearing the Inside Out". האלבום היחיד של פינק פלויד בו אינו מופיע הוא "The Final Cut".

ביולי 2005 התאחדו רייט, גילמור, ניק מייסון ורוג'ר ווטרס (שהצטרף לשאר חברי הלהקה לראשונה לאחר 24 שנים), להופעה של ארבעה שירים במופע הלייב 8 בלונדון.

ב-15 בספטמבר 2008 נפטר רייט לאחר מאבק של שנים במחלת הסרטן[1] בגיל 65.
