גנאדי פאבלוביץ' טראסוב (ברוסית: Геннадий Павлович Тарасов; נולד ב-14 בספטמבר 1947) הוא דיפלומט רוסי.

כיהן כשגריר רוסיה בישראל בשנים 2002–2007.

ביוגרפיה

עובד כדיפלומט משנת 1970.

בשנים 1982–1986 כיהן כיועץ לשגריר ברית המועצות באומות המאוחדות בניו יורק. לדברי העיתונאית אנה אזרי, טראסוב ניהל אז מגעים חשאיים לחידוש היחסים הדיפלומטיים בין ברית המועצות לישראל[1].

בשנת 1990 חזרה למוסקבה ומונה לגן מנהל מחלקת מדינות מזרח התיכון וצפון אפריקה במשרד החוץ וניהל את מחלקת ישראל[2]. זמן קצר לאחר מכן נשלח לכהן כשגריר רוסיה בערב הסעודית[3], תפקיד שמילא במשך 6 שנים[4].

בשנת 1996 מונה למנהל מחלקת המידע והדפוס במשרד החוץ של רוסיה והיה דובר משרד החוץ. ב-1998 נשלח לכהן כשגריר רוסיה בפורטוגל, עד 2002[5][6].

ב-1 בפברואר 2002 מונה לשגריר רוסיה בישראל[7][8], עד ה-31 בינואר 2007.

הוא חזר למוסקבה וכיהן כשגריר למשימות מיוחדות במשרד החוץ ובשנת 2008 מונה למתאם המיוחד באומות המאוחדות לענייני נעדרים במהלך המלחמות במפרץ הפרסי.
