ז'אן ברוסה (בצרפתית: Jeanne Brousse;‏ 2 באפריל 1921 – 19 באוקטובר 2017) ידועה בתור ז'אנט, הייתה פקידה צרפתייה בפריפקטורה של אנסי, צרפת[1], אשר הוכרה על ידי יד ושם כחסידת אומות עולם.

קורות חיים

ז'אן מורייה נולדה בשנת 1921 בפייר דה קיורטיל, וגדלה באנסי. אביה ז'ון מורייה היה יצרן גבינות ששירת ונפצע במלחמת העולם הראשונה ועבד באנסי. אמה מארי, הייתה עקרת בית. ז'אן רצתה ללמוד להיות אחות בפריז, אך בעקבות פרוץ מלחמת העולם השנייה, לא התאפשר לה לעשות זאת, והיא נשארה באנסי[2].

פעילות בתקופת השואה להצלת יהודים

אנסי, בירת מחוז הוט סבואה (Haute-Savoie), הייתה תחת שלטון איטלקי בנובמבר 1942. מדיניות השלטון האיטלקי הייתה אז הומנית וליברלית בשטחים שכבשה, ויהודים רבים מצאו מקלט באנסי. בספטמבר 1943 הועברה השליטה על האזור לגרמניה הנאצית, והיהודים שחיו באנסי נחשפו לסכנה מיידית[3].  באותו זמן עבדה ברוסה בפריפקטורה, וידעה על מעצרים עתידיים של יהודים באזור. היא הייתה בקשר קבוע עם המחתרת הצרפתית, והיה ביכולתה להזהיר את אלו שעמדו להיעצר או להיות מגורשים. מכיוון שהכירה את כל ראשי הכפרים, היא הצליחה לארגן מקומות מחבוא בשביל יהודים וילדים יהודים בפרט. היא גם סייעה לבודדים ולמשפחות שלמות לחצות את הגבול לשווייץ. היא סיפקה ליהודים במחבוא מוצרים הכרחיים, ובהם, מסמכי תעודה מזויפים, תלושי מזון, שמיכות ופרטי ביגוד שקשה להשיגם[4].

לאחר המלחמה והשואה

אחרי המלחמה, הרב הנרי שילי, שבשנות ה-50 היה יושב הראש של האקדמיה הרבנית בפריז, העיד על חלקה של ברוסה בהצלת חייו וחיי משפחתו. הוא סיפר כי היא סיפקה להם מסמכים מזויפים ולאחר הכיבוש הנאצי, ארגנה לילדיו מקום מסתור[4].

אחרי ששוחרר האזור מהשליטה הגרמנית ב-1944, התחתנה ברוסה עם ז'אן ברוסה שהיה עובד ממשלה מקומי. היא שירתה כסגנית נשיא הוועדה הצרפתית של יד ושם למספר שנים החל מ-1987, והשתתפה בדיונים ציבוריים בנוגע לשואה. ז'אן בעלה נפטר ב-2003. בתם קלודי מתה בנעוריה והיו להם שני בנים. בנוסף לארבעה נכדים ושלושה נינים. ברוסה נפטרה בגיל 96 ב-19 באוקטובר 2017[2].

הכרה והנצחה

ברוסה הוכרה כחסידת אומות עולם על ידי יד ושם ב־4 למאי 1973. ב-2005 זכתה לעיטור לגיון הכבוד הצרפתי. ב-2006 נחרט שמה באנדרטה לזכר השואה בפריז[2].
