דגל האינטרסקס

דגל האינטרסקס הוא דגל גאווה שעוצב ביולי 2013 על ידי מורגן קרפנטר מ-Intersex Human Rights Australia (שהיה מכונה אז Organisation Intersex International Australia) במטרה ליצור דגל "שאינו נגזר, אך עדיין מבוסס על משמעותו". המעגל מתואר כ"לא שבור ולא מעוטר, המסמל שלמות, ואת היכולות הטמונות שלנו. אנו עדיין נאבקים על אוטונומיה גופנית ואחדות איברי המין, וזה מסמל את הזכות להיות מי ואיך שאנחנו רוצים להיות".[1]

הארגון מתאר אותו כזמין באופן חופשי "לשימוש כל אדם או ארגון אינטרסקס המבקשים להשתמש בו, בהקשר קהילתי לזכויות אדם".[1]

דגל זה מורכב מטבעת סגולה על רקע צהוב, צבעים הנחשבים לצבעי "הרמאפרודיט".

שימוש

בדגל השתמשו מגוון ארגוני מדיה וזכויות אדם.[2][3][4][5][6] ביוני 2018 השתתפו פעילי אינטרסקס בצעדת גאווה באודה-גרכט, שם הם הניפו את הדגל.

במאי 2018 הפכה ניו זילנד למדינה הראשונה בה הונף דגל האינטרסקס מחוץ לפרלמנט הלאומי.[7][8][9]
