RAC1

RAC1 (Ràdio Associació de Catalunya 1) é unha emisora de radio privada de Cataluña.

Historia e características

Comezou as emisións o 1 de maio de 2000, sendo a primeira cadea de radio privada despois da desaparecida Cadena 13 en emitir 24 horas ao día integramente en catalán e, desde os inicios, o seu números de oíntes aumentaron sempre, até situarse como a emisora líder en Cataluña.[1]

Os seus estudios están situados na Torre Barcelona, no núm. 477 da Avenida Diagonal de Barcelona. A emisora está xestionada pola empresa RàdioCat XXI, propiedade do Grupo Godó e pola cooperativa Ràdio Associació de Catalunya, herdeira da primeira emisora que emitiu en catalán durante os anos 30, Ràdio Associació de Catalunya EAJ-15. O actual director de RàdioCat XXI, e por extensión de RAC1, é Ramon Rovira.
