Psámate, (ou en grego Ψαμάθη), tamén coñecido coma Neptuno X, é un satélite irregular de Neptuno con movemento retrógrado. Esta lúa foi descuberta por Scott S. Sheppard e David C. Jewitt no 2003 usando un telescopio Subaru de 8,2 metros.[3] Psámate recibiría o nome dunha das Nereidas. Antes do anuncio do seu nome oficial o 3 de febreiro do 2007 (IAUC 8802), recibiu a designación provisional de S/2003 N 1.[5] .

Esta lúa ten de diámetro ó redor de 38 km. Orbita Neptuno unha distancia de 46.695.000 kms e lévalle 25 anos terrestres facer unha órbita. A órbita deste satélite está moi próxima á separación (mínima) teórica estable con Neptuno para un corpo cunha órbita retrógrada. Dada as semellanzas entre os parámetros orbitais de Psámate e Neso (S/2002 N 4), foi suxerido que ambos satélites podían ter unha orixe en común na escisión dunha lúa de maior tamaño.[3] Ambas lúas son as lúas máis afastadas respecto do seu planeta nai dentro do Sistema Solar.[6]
