Mehmet Genç, nado en Artvin o 4 de maio de 1934^[1] e finado en Istambul o 18 de marzo de 2021,^[2] foi un historiador e escritor turco especializado na economía do Imperio Otomán.^[3]

Mehmet Genç obtivo en 1958 unha licenciatura en ciencias políticas, economía e finanzas pola Universidade de Ancara.^[4]
