Conferencia de Teherán

Iosif Stalin, Franklin D. Roosevelt e Winston Churchill na Conferencia de Teherán.

A Conferencia de Teherán foi un cumio transcorrido entre o 28 de novembro e o 1 de decembro de 1943, entre Stalin, Churchill e Roosevelt, que formaban o bando dos aliados.

Foi a primeira conferencia da segunda guerra mundial entre os Tres Grandes (a Unión Soviética, os Estados Unidos e o Reino Unido) na que Stalin estaba presente. Sucedeu á Conferencia do Cairo e foi seguida pola Conferencia de Ialta e a Conferencia de Potsdam. O principal debate centrouse na apertura dunha segunda fronte en Europa occidental.

Principais conclusións

  1. O acordo fíxose afirmando que os partisanos de Iugoslavia debían recibir apoio de subministración, equipos e tamén de comandos.
  2. Conveuse en que sería conveniente que Turquía entrase en guerra ao lado dos Aliados antes de que finalizase o ano.
  3. Se Turquía entraba en guerra, a Unión Soviética apoiaríaa.
  4. Tomouse nota o 30 de novembro de que a Operación Overlord se poría en marcha durante o mes de maio de 1944, en relación cunha operación contra o sur de Francia.
  5. Conveuse en que os Estados Maiores das tres potencias debían, a partir de entón, manterse en estreito contacto uns cos outros.
  6. Gran Bretaña, Francia e os EUA prometéronlle a Stalin que enviarían tropas a Europa Occidental. Acordouse que chegarían na primavera de 1944.
  7. Ante a insistencia de Stalin, as fronteiras polacas da posguerra determínanse ao longo dos ríos Oder e Neisse e a Liña Curzon.
  8. Foi acordada provisionalmente a Organización das Nacións Unidas (ONU).
  9. A Unión Soviética acordou declararlle a guerra ao Xapón unha vez que a Alemaña fose batida.
