O Campionato do mundo de ácuatlon é a máxima competición internacional de ácuatlon. Celébrase anualmente desde 1998 e está organizado pola Unión Internacional de Tríatlon.

Inicialmente celebrábase uns días antes e no mesmo lugar que o Campionato do mundo de tríatlon; con todo, dende 2007 realízase como un evento totalmente separado nunha localidade diferente. Consiste nunha proba que combina natación e carreira a pé, normalmente con 5 km de carreira a pé e entre 750 e 1  km de natación (as distancias teñen variado durante a historia do evento).
