Le Festival Au fil du son est un festival français de musiques actuelles créé en 2004 à Civray[1].

Introduction

Le Festival AU FIL DU SON se tient chaque année à l'espace François Mitterrand dans le centre-ville de Civray (département de la Vienne) dans un site naturel au bord de la Charente. Civray se situe au carrefour des 4 départements de l'ex Région Poitou-Charentes, drainant ainsi facilement le public de la région.

L'organisation est confiée à une association de bénévoles La ch'mise verte[1].

Le festival est aujourd'hui le second, en termes de fréquentation, de la région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, derrière les Francofolies de La Rochelle[2]. L'édition 2017 a battu le record d'affluence, avec 30 000 spectateurs pour les 3 jours. L'édition 2019 bat un nouveau record, avec 35000 spectateurs[3].

L'association La Ch'mise verte

L'association La Ch'mise Verte a été créée en 2002 par une bande de copains du lycée André Theuriet de Civray[4].

Malheureusement, à la suite d'une violente tempête le vendredi 26 juillet 2013 pendant le set de Birdy Nam Nam (qui ont dû arrêter de mixer), les concerts du samedi 27 juillet furent annulés.

Une soirée de soutien a eu lieu le 5 octobre 2013 avec : As De Trèfle, Hilight Tribe, Le Pied De La Pompe, Tribal Tive Sound, Chabifonk Expérience, DJ Flow on the floor, Les Gars Dans L'Coin, Kofee Miam Miam
