Verde (verde = 'vihreä'[1]) on suomalainen vihreän liikkeen aatteelliselle perustalle pohjautuva yhteiskunnallinen uutis- ja ajankohtaisjulkaisu. Sitä julkaistaan vain netissä.

Lehteä julkaisee Verdelehti oy, jonka omistaa joukko yksityishenkilöitä sekä Viite – Tieteen ja teknologian vihreät symbolisella yhden osakkeen panoksella. Vihreä liitto on tukenut julkaisua, mutta sen toimitus toimii itsenäisesti.[2]

Historia

Lehti perustettiin vuonna 2020 Vihreän Langan lopetettua, ja sen ensimmäisenä päätoimittajana oli Osmo Soininvaara[3]. Se keräsi toiminnan aloittamista varten joukkorahoitusta, johon osallistui yli 300 henkilöä.[4]

Verden päätoimittaja Leena Brandtin mukaan lehteä toimitettiin aluksi vapaaehtoisvoimin, mutta 4–5 jutun julkaisu viikossa netissä kävi niin raskaaksi että siihen palkattiin osa-aikainen toimitussihteeri, jonka palkan maksuun puolue sitoutui.[5] Vihreä liitto kertoi vuoden 2022 alussa tukevansa Verdeä 30 000 eurolla.[2]

Vihreiden vaalitappion myötä kevään 2023 eduskuntavaaleissa puoluetuki väheni ja puolue lopetti lehden tukemisen.[6]
