Urai (ven. Ура́й) on öljyntuotannon johdosta kasvanut teollisuuskaupunki Venäjän Hantien ja mansien autonomisen piirikunnan lounaisosissa Länsi-Siperian alangolla, Irtyš-joen Konda-sivujoen lounaisrannalla. Kaupunki sijaitsee linnuntietä 250 kilometriä länteen piirikunnan pääkaupunki Hanty-Mansijskista. [3][4]

Kaupungiksi taajama kohosi 1965. [4] Piirikunnan aluehallinnossa Urai on 39 457 (vuonna 2010) asukkaan kaupunkipiiri,[5] jonka sijaitsee maantieteellisesti Kondan piirin sisällä.

Vuonna 1960 Urain lähistöltä löydettiin öljyä.[4] Nykyään alueella on muun muassa Lukoil-öljy-yhtiön tuotantokenttiä, rakennus ja elintarviketeollisuutta. Kaupungissa on kotiseutumuseo. Ylempää koulutusta annetaan muun muassa Tjumenin valtionyliopiston ja Tjumenin valtiollisen maaöljy- ja maakaasuyliopiston sivutoimipisteissä.

Kaupungissa on jokisatama ja lentoasema. Lähin rautatieasema (Ustje-Aha) sijaitsee yli 100 kilometrin päässä Mežduretšenskissa.[3][4]
