Laurent Mekies (s. 28. huhtikuuta 1977 Tours[1]) on ranskalainen insinööri. Hän toimii Formula 1 -talli Racing Bullsin tallipäällikkönä.

Ura Formula 1 -sarjassa

Mekies saapui Formula 1 -piireihin vuonna 2001, kun hänestä tuli Arrows-kuljettaja Enrique Bernoldin moottorin kisainsinööri[2]. Seuraavana vuonna hän vaihtoi Minardille, jossa hän toimi Mark Webberin moottorin kisainsinöörinä[2]. Myöhemmin hän toimi myös Zsolt Baumgartnerin ja Christijan Albersin alustan kisainsinöörinä Minardilla[2]. Vuonna 2006 Red Bull osti Minardin ja sen nimeksi muuttui Toro Rosso. Mekiesistä tuli tuolloin tallin pääinsinööri[2]. Tuossa tehtävässä Mekies oli mukana voittamassa tallin tähän mennessä ainoata voittoa vuonna 2008 Sebastian Vettelin ajamana Monzassa.

Vuonna 2013, Mekiesin toimittua seitsemän vuotta Toro Rosson kisainsinöörinä, hänestä tuli tallin auton kehityksestä vastaavan osaston johtaja[3]. Hän työskenteli vuosina 2021–2023 Ferrarin kilpailuosaston johtajana.[4] Huhtikuussa 2023 uutisoitiin, että hän siirtyy AlphaTaurille.[5]

Mekies asuu Toro Rosson kotipaikassa, Italian Faenzassa[1].
