Imatran Pallo-Veikot (IPV) on vuonna 1955 perustettu imatralainen pesäpalloseura, jonka miesten edustusjoukkue pelaa korkeimmalla sarjatasolla Superpesiksessä.

IPV on yksi historian menestyksekkäimmistä pesäpalloseuroista. Se on voittanut Suomen mestaruuden vuosina 1977, 1978, 1986 ja 1991. Lisäksi IPV on saavuttanut hopeaa kolme kertaa ja pronssia kerran. Kauden 2006 päätteeksi IPV säilytti paikkansa Superpesiksessä karsintojen kautta, mutta taloudelliseen ahdinkoon ajautunut seura päätti lokakuussa 2006 luopua paikastaan korkeimmalla sarjatasolla. IPV voitti Ykköspesiksen runkosarjan kaudella 2016 ja nousi takaisin Superpesikseen kaudelle 2017.

IPV harjoittelee ja pelaa kotiottelunsa Ukonniemen stadionilla. Aiemmin kotikenttänä toimi ensin Tainionkosken Maneesi ja tämän jälkeen Linnalan kenttä.[2] Ennen kauden alkua seura on järjestänyt vuosikymmenien ajan Velimalja-turnauksen. Turnausta alettiin aikoinaan järjestää seuran ensimmäisen puheenjohtajan Veli Niirasen muistoksi. [3]

Seuran tunnetuin pelaaja on Ilpo Kytösalmi (s. 1946), joka pelasi urallaan 437 ottelua. Hän keräsi pesispörssissä 2202 pistettä, millä hän on kaikkien aikojen tilastossa kahdestoista. Kytösalmi toi SM-sarjassa 592 juoksua ja etenijätilastossakin hän on yhä viides. Itä–Länsi-otteluita Kytösalmi pelasi urallaan Idän joukkueessa 13.

Saavutukset

Kunniagalleria

IPV avasi 60-vuotisjuhlavuonnaan 2015 oman kunniagallerian. Siihen voidaan nimetä henkilöitä pitkän ja ansiokkaan pelaaja- tai järjestö- ja urheilujohtajauran tai muun IPV:n hyväksi tehdyn toiminnan vuoksi. Nimityksistä päättää vuosittain seuran hallitus.[4]
