Hyūga (jap. 日向市, Hyūga-shi) on Japanin kaupunki Kyūshūn saarella Miyazakin prefektuurissa. Se sijaitsee Tyynenmeren Hyūganmeren rannikolla prefektuurin pohjoisosassa. Kaupungin ydinalue on Shiomijoen suulle muodostuneella alluviaalitasangolla. Etelämpänä kaupungin halki Tyyneenmereen virtaa myös Mimijoki. Sisämaassa kaupunki käsittää pääosin metsäisiä vuoristoalueita ja ulottuu Osuzuvuorelle saakka.[1][4] Hyūgassa on 61 296 asukasta (syyskuussa 2019)[2] ja sen pinta-ala on 336,29 neliökilometriä.[1]

Hyūgan kaupunki perustettiin vuonna 1951, kun Tomishiman maaseutukaupunki ja Iwawakin kyläkunta liitettiin yhteen. Kaupunki sai nimensä aiemmalta Hyūgan provinssilta. Vuonna 1955 kaupunkiin liitettiin vielä Mimitsun maaseutukaupunki ja vuonna 2006 Tōgōn maaseutukaupunki. Kaupungin historiallista ydinaluetta on Tomitakan kaupunginosa, joka toimi Edo-kaudella vuodesta 1692 lähtien Hitalle alisteisena hallinnollisena keskuksena suoraan Tokugawa-bakufun omistuksessa. Sen itäpuolella sijaitseva Hososhima kehittyi vilkkaana kauppasatamana ja myöhemmin 1900-luvun puolivälistä lähtien teollisuussatamana, jonka läheisyyteen kehittyi muun muassa sokeri-, tekstiili- ja metalliteollisuutta.[1][4]

Hyūgan nähtävyyksiin kuuluvat kauniit rannikkomaisemat, kuten Hyūganniemellä sijaitsevat Umagasen rantakalliot, useat hiekkarannat, runoilija Bokusui Wakayaman kotitalo, Myōkoku-jin puutarha ja Mimitsun historiallinen satamakaupunginosa. Kaupunkia palvelee JR Kyūshūn Nippō-päälinja.[1][4]
