Heinrich Bär

Luftwaffen everstiluutnantti Heinrich "Pritzl" Bär.

Oskar-Heinz (Heinrich) "Pritzl" Bär (25. toukokuuta 1913 Sommerfeld – 28. huhtikuuta 1957 Braunschweig) oli saksalainen[1] everstiluutnantti,[2] hävittäjälentäjä ja hävittäjä-ässä. Hän palveli Luftwaffessa koko toisen maailmansodan ajan.[1] Heinrich Bär syntyi Sommerfeldissä lähellä Leipzigia. Hän kuoli pienlentokoneonnettomuudessa lähellä Braunschweigia.[3]

Ennen suihkuhävittäjäkoneyksikköön siirtymistään Bär palveli länsirintamalla. Hän toimi ainakin yksiköissä JG 1, JG 3 sekä EJG 2. Bär teki Messerschmitt Bf 109 -konetyypillä länsirintamalla ja lentueen päällikkönä 59 pudotusta.[4]

Sodan loppuaikana Bär lensi Messerschmitt Me 262 -suihkuhävittäjäkonetta sekä toimi Adolf Gallandin varamiehenä JV (Jagdverband) 44:ssä.[2] Hän saavutti Me 262:lla 16 ilmavoittoa. Yhteensä Heinrich Bärin saavuttama ilmavoittomäärä oli 220 tuhottua liittoutuneiden lentokonetta. Sotilasansiomerkkinä Bär sai rautaristin ritariristin miekoilla ja tammenlehvillä.[5]
