Dahuk tai Dihok (kurdiksi Parêzgeha Dihok ,پارێزگای دھۆک‎, arab. محافظة دهوك‎‎, Muḥāfaẓah Dahūk, joskus muodossa Dohuk tai Dhok) on Irakin pohjoisosassa, Kurdistanin autonomisella alueella, Turkin rajalla sijaitseva maakunta. Siihen kuuluu 6 553 neliökilometriä eli 1,5 prosenttia Irakin pinta-alasta (suppean tulkinnan mukaan; pinta-ala riippuu rajojen tulkinnasta Niniven maakunnan kanssa).[1] Maakunnan hallintokeskus on Dahukin kaupunki (kurdiksi Dihok),[1] joka sijaitsee linnuntietä noin 415 kilometriä Irakin pääkaupunki Bagdadista pohjoisluoteeseen.

Maakunnan väkiluku oli vuoden 1997 väestönlaskennassa  .[3] Vuonna 2013 asukkaita arvioitiin olevan 1 133 627 (3,6 % Irakin väestöstä). Väestöstä 74,4 prosenttia asui kaupungeissa ja 25,6 prosenttia maaseudulla.[1]

Paikallishallintoa varten kuvernoraatti jakautuu seitsemään piirikuntaan.[1]

Maakunnan piirikuntajako.

Maakunta on kiistellyt Niniven maakunnan kanssa ash-Shaikhanin, Sinjarin, Tal Afarin ja Tilkaifin piirikuntien rajoista tai niiden kuulumisesta maakuntaan. Useimpia kiistanalaisia piirikuntia (katso Ninawa) ei ole esitetty maakunnan sijaintia osoittavassa Irakin kartassa eikä oheisessa luettelossa, paitsi ash-Shaikhanin piirikunta.

  • Zaxo (Zakho, Zakhow, 20 %).

Dahuk on muun Irakin Kurdistanin tavoin selkeästi korkean tulotason seutua. Keskimääräinen bruttokansantulo henkeä kohden oli 19 780 Yhdysvaltain dollaria vuonna 2012. [4] Väestön kehitystasoa vuonna 2012 kuvaava inhimillisen kehityksen indeksi oli 0,726 (korkea, tasoltaan Turkin HDI:n luokkaa).[2] Kansallisen köyhyysrajan (2,5 USD/päivä) alapuolella oli 4,9 prosenttia väestöstä vuonna 2011. Köyhien väestöosuus on maakunnallisesti selvästi keskimääräistä Irakin tasoa (11,5 %) vähäisempi, joskin kahdessa piirikunnassa (Al-Shaikan ja Bardarash) väestöstä yli 10 prosenttia eli kansallista köyhyysrajaa niukemmin.[1]
