Hosto txortengabea, non hosto-xafla zuzenean zurtoinean ezartzen den.

Sesil (latinetik sessilis, esertzeko egokia) edo txortengabeak, botanikan, hostoak edo igaliak adarrera lotzen diren kirten modukorik ez daukaten landareak dira. Hosto bat txortengabea da, zurtoinarekin loturarik ez badu, hosto-txorten bidez, lorearen kasuan, txortenik ez badu, eta antera sesila da harizpirik ez badu edo hura oso laburra baldin bada.
