Sintesia

Bromantanoa Leurkcart-en erreakzioari jarraituz prestatzen da adamantanona eta 4-bromoanilina erreakzionaraziz[2].

Bromantanoa 1996ko Atlantako Olinpiar Jokoetan egin zen ezagun. Garai hartan, bost atleta deskalifikatu zituzten bromantanoa erabiltzeagatik[4]. Deskalifikazioak geroago baliogabetu behar izan ziren, garai hartan bromantanoaren efektuei buruzko datu nahikorik ez zegoelako. Bere efektu psikostimulatzaileak frogatutzat jotzen dira orain. Gainera, uste da bromantanoak eritropoietinaren efektuak ezkutatu ditzakeela.
