Wilhelm RÓBIN (Rubin) [rubin], esperantigite Vilhelmo ROBIN (naskiĝis la 1-an de novembro 1873 en Piotrków Trybunalski, mortpafita de germanoj en 1942 en Luck[1]) estis pola esperantisto, kuracisto de stomak-malsanoj (gastrologo) en Varsovio kaj prezidinto de la "Kuracista Unuiĝo de la Pola Respubliko".

Róbin kreis la Gastrologian Societon en Varsovio kaj verkis multajn (35) sciencajn artikolojn.

Landa Esperanto-agado

Li estis Esperantisto de 1892 kaj kune kun aliaj formis la unuan (neoficialan) Esperanto-rondeton en Varsovio, kiu tiuepoke apartenis al cara Rusio. Dum la unua kunsido, la 1-an de decembro 1893, ĉeestis: J. Janowski, d-ro Jozefo Wasniewski, W. Robin kaj Al. Blumental (frato de Leo Belmont, t.e. Leopold Blumental). En 1904 oni malfermis la Esperanto-Socion en Varsovio, sed Róbin estis delegita pro la rusa-japana milito al Ĥabarovsk (Siberio) kiel kuracisto, kie li trovis jam organizitan Esperanto-movadon. Reveninte al Varsovio, li laboris por la Esperanto-Societo en Varsovio kiel ĝia sekretario. En la lastaj jaroj li estis vicprezidanto de Pola Esperanto-Societo (PES).

Faka Esperanto-agado

Róbin iniciatis la fondon de Tutmonda Esperantista Kuracista Asocio (TEKA); certan tempon li redaktis la periodaĵon „Kuracisto“, poste fariĝis prezidanto de TEKA. Li estis la unua prezidanto de „Konkordo“ en Varsovio. Ĉirkaŭ tiu tempo kune kun Hippolyte Sébert, Théophile Cart kaj Eduard Stettler li iniciatis la Internacian Monumentan Komitaton por kolekti monon kaj starigi monumenton al L.L. Zamenhof. Róbin fariĝis prezidanto de la Loka Monumenta Komitato. Li varbis por Esperanto tre influ-riĉajn personojn kaj estis ĉefkunlaboranto de la Enciklopedio de Esperanto.
