Historio

La unua dokumenta mencio de Thürnen datiĝas el la jaro 1101 kiel Durnun.

En la 11-a jarcento la Monaĥejo Sankt-Alban posedis bienojn en Thürnen, kiujn ĝi donis kiel servuto al la senjoroj de Eptingen. La cetera vilaĝo apartenis al la senjorujo Homburg, kaj fariĝis en la jaro 1305 posedaĵo de la episkopo de Bazelo, kiu ĝin vendis en la jaro 1400 al la urbo. Ĝis la Helveta Revolucio en la jaro 1798 Thürnen apartenis al la voktejo de Homburg. En la jaro 1803 ĝi estis atribuita al la distrikto Sissach, kun kiu ĝi en la jaro 1833 aliĝis post la Bazela Kantondisiĝo de 1832 al la nove fondita Kantono Bazelo Kampara.
