János Róka [jAnoŝ rOka], laŭ hungarlingve kutima nomordo Róka János estis hungara katolika pastro, jezuita monaĥo, lernejestro, titulara kanoniko.

János Róka[1] naskiĝis la 7-an de januaro 1727 en Győr (Hungara reĝlando, Habsburga Imperio), li mortis en 1790 en Pozsony (Hungara reĝlando, Habsburga Imperio, nuntempa Bratislavo en Slovakio).

Biografio

János Róka aliĝis al la jezuitoj, poste li studis en sia naskiĝurbo, Nagyszombat kaj Vieno. Li pasis 8 jarojn inter jezuitoj, poste li estis forigita, pli poste li estis juĝisto en la policejo. Li doktoriĝis el teologio en 1765 en Universitato de Vieno. En 1768 li estis pastro de Taksony, en la sekva jaro li ricevis postenon en episkopejo de Vác. Li ricevis la rangon titulara kanoniko en 1771 (denove en 1775), samtempe li estis pastro en Torontál, kie li strebis por kulturo de francoj vivantaj tie. De 1773 ĝismorte li estis lernejestro en Pozsony.
