Diccionario de la lengua castellana en que se explica el verdadero sentido de las voces, su naturaleza y calidad, con las phrases o modos de hablar, los proverbios o rephranes, y otras cosas convenientes al uso de la lengua, dedicado al rey nuestro señor don Phelippe V (que Dios guarde) a cuyas reales expensas se hace esta obra :

La Diccionario de autoridades (vortaro de aŭtoritatoj), publikita inter 1726 kaj 1739, estis la unua vortaro de la hispana lingvo eldonita de la Real Academia Española, fundamento el kio nune estas konata kiel Diccionario de la lengua española.

Historio

La Diccionario de autoridades estas la unua vortaro fare de la Real Academia Española (RAE). La fondo de la RAE en 1713 sekvis la jam ekzistintajn akademiojn de la franca kaj itala lingvoj, nome Académie Française kaj Accademia della Crusca, respektive. Kontraste la RAE celis tuj prilabori vortaron rapide post ties fondo. Oni konsideris, ke la lingvo estis jam perfekta ĉe la verkistoj de la Hispana Ora Jarcento kaj oni celis eviti la korupton fare de afrancesados kaj plibonigi la rezulton de ties plej bonkvalita antaŭanto nome Tesoro de la lengua española o castellana, de Sebastián de Covarrubias kaj publikita en 1611.

Tiu vortaro estas konata kiel «de autoridades» (de aŭtoritatoj) ĉar montras en la artikoloj citaĵojn de aŭtoroj kiuj estas ekzemploj aŭ modeloj por la difino. La Diccionario de autoridades aperis inter la jaroj 1726 kaj 1739, post detala procezo de kreado kaj redaktado kuna de ĉiuj artikoloj. Ĝi konsistas el 6 volumenoj.
