Akademiano

La titolo akademiano indikas la koncepton de plenrajta membro de arta, literatura aŭ scienca akademio. En multaj landoj, ĝi estas honora titolo. Tamen, en iuj aliaj sistemoj, kiel ĉe la Akademio de Sciencoj de Sovetunio ĝi donis reale privilegiojn kaj administrajn respondecajn kampojn por financadasigno kaj esplorprioritatoj. De tie tio ankoraŭ daŭras en multaj landoj el la orbito de Sovetunio.

La akademianoj de la Hispana Akademio kongruas kun la literoj de la hispana alfabeto (kaj ties koncerna fotelo), nome estas akademiano por la majuskla a, alia por la minuskla a, alia por la majuskla bo ktp.

Membreco en la Akademio de Esperanto ne estas dumviva kaj nur honora: antaŭ ĉiuj elektoj la kandidatoj promesas partopreni en la laboroj de la Akademio, se ili estos elektitaj; ĉiun trian jaron triono de la postenoj de akademianoj aŭtomate malfermiĝas; por konservi akademianecon la koncernaj akademianoj devas rekandidatiĝi kaj gajni en demokratiaj elektoj kun sekreta voĉdonado egalrajte malfermitaj ankaŭ al novaj kandidatoj.
