Please help to source this article that has been unsourced for 15 years. I know it exists, but I can't find reliable sources. Thanks in advance. Bearian (talk) 18:32, 26 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, that's a terrible article. The lede and the "basic example" do not even agree whether the amber shift is with increasing or decreasing temperatures, (nevermind, I read that wrong...) ...though according to the Plankian locus, the brighter light should appear less amber. With regards to human perception, there is a dependence of brightness of color purity, i.e. very dim (Hunt effect (color)) or very bright lights (Bezold–Brücke shift) will tend towards white (lower purity). I'll look into it later. I may just opt to merge ambershift into Incandescent light bulb or dimmer. Curran919 (talk) 08:23, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The article previously titled Sanguine has been moved to Red chalk following an RM, and after some light rewriting it now focusses on the drawing material and barely discusses "sanguine" as the name of a colour. The lede picture used to be the colour swatch on the right, but I've removed it as I don't think it fits into the article any more. Any ideas for somewhere else it could go?
