Utpal Kumar Singh
Utpal Kumar Singh (born 29 July 1960[1][2]) is an Indian bureaucrat and retired IAS officer of Uttarakhand cadre[3] who is currently serving as the Secretary General of the Lok Sabha since 30 November 2020.[4][5] Early lifeSingh was born to Braj Kishore Singh and Annapurna singh in 1960.[1] Personal lifeSingh was married to Nipunika Singh and his family have 1 children.[1] EducationSingh completed his master's degree in B.A (hons), M.A (History) from Kirori Mal College Delhi University and International Institute of Social Studies. He subsequently received a M.A in Public Policy and Management from a university in The Hague, Netherlands.[1] CareerMr. Singh has also held several important positions at the center, including Additional Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.[6][7] During his tenure as Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand (2017–2020), Singh worked alongside several senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including Vinod Prasad Raturi, who held the position of Revenue Secretary at that time[8] References
