Though a newspaper coverage is considered one of the primary sources of reference, I think by googling her you can get an idea of the notability she achieves. I removed your Prod. The relevant criterion for academics is WP:PROF, and he meets criterion 5. This is an alternative to the GNG, not a supplement to it, and has had consensus for many years. As it says there, if someone meets the criterion, it just has to be verifiable from reliable sources, and an official CV is considered reliable for the purpose. I've declined your speedy as I feel it's copied the other way. The basic text here goes back to about 2006, and it's developed from there. If you think I'm wrong, I'd suggest contacting User:Moonriddengirl or User:VernoWhitney who are rather more expert in copyright matters than I am. It's not unusual for Wikipedia text to be copied without acknowledgement, and this is bit too neutral to have originated with the subject. IMO. I could be wrong. The similarities between these two works has been noted by many many critics, and in some articles by Blanchette. This is enough to warrant the film's inclusion under the "Other"(I.E Related Works) section in the template. Note how it is not listed as a Direct Adaptation(which would put it under the "Films" section), but as "Other". It was never the intention to list it as an adaptation in the original addition of it to the Template, but as a "related work". You appear to have mistaken the intention of it's appearence under the "Other" title.Colliric (talk) 07:47, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

Just because cultural critics have found similarities between All Is Lost and "The Old Man and the Sea" or Spring Breakers and a Norman Mailer essay doesn't mean that they should be linked via templates on Wikipedia. Unless you can find a reliable source from the author/production team of Blue Jasmine (Woody Allen & company) stating that there is an intentional relationship between that work and A Streetcar Named Desire, Jasmine should not be included on the Streetcar template. I realized later that it should be "Musical performances" (or it could be "Songs performed"). When someone is looking for that info, doing it that way makes it much easier to find. And it eliminates the redundancy of "-- performs" (not to mention repeated links). We know who the performer/musical guest is from above. Also, about half of what's there now are not complete sentences. The way it's written is more like notes than a summary, which is fine. Firstly, the article that's cited says Nasim Pedrad "implies" she's leaving. So no, that's not reliable. While it's likely she is, without confirmation from her or NBC it's speculation, which fails WP:CRYSTAL. There has been no announcement of a premiere date nor casting news, which doesn't typically get released until August. It means that it is pointless to change a direct link to a redirect one. In this case, changing the link to Teen Wolf Season 3 to a redirection to Teen Wolf Season 3#Part 1 and Teen Wolf Season 3#Part 2, which aren't articles. Artmanha (talk) 03:58, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

I still don't quite understand what you're saying. If you go to List of The Sopranos episodes, List of Breaking Bad episodes, and List of Mad Men episodes you'll see how multi-part seasons link to the season's parts directly. -- Wikipedical (talk) 04:01, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

Eventhough it is a multi-part season, it is still a single season and dividing it on the Series Overview can be confusing. Besides, Season 3 have 24 episodes not 12 plus 12, I cannot see how that is confusing. What can be confusing, on the other hand, is having two "seasons" with the same number. See, the way you want to put it, do not show how many episodes a multi-part season has, it only splits them as if it was two different seasons, which they aren't. Nothing in NOTADVICE advocates this as a case to remove it, and it has been established for years upon years that a standard 'check local listings' note is much better for large cable systems with many varying channel slots for a network than adding a long, long list of every single cable system in an infobox, not to mention those channel positions are easily vandalized and take a yeoman's effort using complicated cable company sites and unreliable PDF's to source. Hi. I saw that you reverted one of my edits and I just wanted to make sure that you knew that Miranda Sings is a character and that Colleen Ballinger is the actress who portrays her. I guess there is some doubt about who will be in the car. I have seen some sites that say Ballinger and a couple that say Miranda. On Jerry's Facebook to which you linked, he says Miranda and on the program he says he hasn't met her yet and that his daughter turned him on to Miranda's Youtube channel, so that is what he knows her as. Personally, I think that Jerry would have the actress not the character. However, I suppose we should wait for the promotional video for the series and if we see Jerry talking to a girl with a hoarse voice and copious amounts of lipstick, he's talking to Miranda. Wiki, you are causing several problems with your transclusion. First, and foremost, you're blocking out the rest of the page with the references from the transcluded pages. If you bothered to look at your work afterward, you'd realize that the rest of the page gets bumped down and there are 2 reference sections there (one in the middle of the page). There are also missing references from where you transcluded and deleted sources that were there. When you tranclude, you're bringing in 10 years worth of plot summary. That is too much information for this page. There is a reason that we have season pages and split that information. It is neither appropriate, nor does it look pleasing when trying to read that you have to surf through 10 years of plot just to get to the rest of the article. The layout of the article is in the best setup right now without the transcluded seasons. I don't know where you're editing that articles are doing this, but it would not be an ideal way of providing information. Realized where the corruption was happening (my apologies). I'm ok with an overview table on the main page (the corruption was when it was removed from the LoE page), but I don't believe there needs to be one on the LoE page. So many articles, that I don't know how practical it would be to get any violating articles in line, which leads me to the conclusion that the boldface markup is a matter of style, but we can't ignore the guideline—it's there for a reason, yet few are enforcing it. The logic in this edit summary doesn't follow. Of course we wouldn't say "in inch" but what we do say is:

• 1 million - 1 inch - 1 foot - 1 kilometre
• 2 million - 2 inches - 2 feet - 2 kilometres
• 3 million - 3 inches - 3 feet - 3 kilometres

Hello Wikipedical, you recently made the seemingly-innocuous change to the debate-status-key, of converting from "out of race (exploring or suspended)" to instead read "out of race (exploring or withdrawn)". I think this is an incorrect change, because it reduces the scope of the "o" status, or at least, makes the scope less clear. Out-of-race is supposed to include the following not-yet-in sorts of reasons:

• candidate is not announced
• candidate is testing the waters (official FEC terminology with corresponding legal ramifications)
• candidate is has formed an exploratory committee (ditto FEC)
• candidate has scheduled or hinted at their announcement but is still technically 'out'

However, out-of-race is also supposed to include the following no-longer-really-in sorts of reasons:

• candidate is no longer running aka withdrawn , and all fundraising vehicles are shut down
• candidate is no longer actively running aka has suspended their campaign (in terms of travel/debates/etc) , but fundraising is ongoing ... often to retire outstanding campaign-debt (happened in 2012 and many other cycles)
• candidate is still active but candidate has switched parties (which has happened as recently as 2012 and may happen again in 2016 if Trump follows through on his I-may-run-3rd-party answer in the debates)
• candidate is deceased (which has happened -- see 1968) , or otherwise unable to campaign due to medical reasons (e.g. detached retina is one example that happened fairly recently)

There is a grey area for campaigns that are still running, but are pursuing delegate-strategies (which happened in 2012 as well), and I'm not sure wikipedia counts those as "o" or as "N" or as "A" or as what exactly. Anyways, can you please restore the "out of race (exploring or suspended)" wording, since in politics 'suspended' really is slightly different from the normal English meaning of out-of-race, whereas the 'withdrawn' word is basically a synonym of out-of-race and thus already covered? The parenthetical info is supposed to clarify that testing-the-waters counts as "o" because the candidate is not yet fully in, and that suspended-but-still-fundraising-to-pay-debts also counts as "o" because the candidate is not yet fully out but might as well be. 75.108.94.227 (talk) 04:37, 11 August 2015 (UTC)

I moved the article based on that definition, as well as the fact that it aired over three successive nights. That's a textbook example of a miniseries. The article itself, at the time of the move, defined itself as a miniseries as well, which I noticed you removed. "(miniseries)" is an appropriate disambiguation under WP:NCTV. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
