A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Fezara, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
No sourced sited, much content seems to be untruthful.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Hi Sarcelles, sorry I haven't responded in a while; I don't want you to think I have been ignoring your e-mail about the new edition of the Laogai Handbook. Anyway, I have been working (very slowly and intermittently) on updating the entire list, but I'm doing it in my sandbox (User:Politizer/Sandbox) rather than the main article, since I want to be able to post all the changes at once rather than have the article in limbo for a long time. Right now I'm down to Inner Mongolia (you can tell which sections I haven't updated yet because the Established columns are empty; I didn't include establishment dates in the original article, but I am adding them as I go now). Anyone is welcome to edit, but you're not required to (it just means it might take me a few more weeks to finish it on my own). Politizertalk/contribs20:54, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cameroon and poverty statistic
Hi, Sarcelles! I removed the poverty statistic you added to the Cameroon page's introduction, and I wanted to let you know why. Earlier today, I cleaned up the article, and I moved that statistic to the body of the article rather than the introduction. The introduction already mentions that large numbers of Cameroonians live in poverty, and for the lead section of an article, that should be good enough. The body of the article is really the best place to go into hard numbers like the statistic you added. For more information, you can check out WP:LEAD and WP:SUMMARY. Thanks! — Dulcem (talk) 13:41, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits to numerous articles (including Guatemala and Yemen) are following this incorrect pattern of inserting new information regarding poverty rates into the lead. These articles have appropriate sections for economy. Additionally, your edit summaries are uninformative. Describing things as "enhanced" is meaningless, since the purpose of editing is enhancement. You might want to consider something closer to "added information on poverty rate". Your information and sources are useful additions. With appropriate placement and summaries, your edits will be far more useful.Novangelis (talk) 18:46, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it seems like you are going around and including how many Christians now live in a large number of Chinese cities, and you are citing the same reference. As the reference is a book or other non-Internet publication I would like to see it verifiable by WP:V. A lot of the claims, like Zhejiang having a 10% Christian population, is quite dubious. Having been there lately I actually find this number to be extremely hard to believe. I would ask you to stop inserting these one-sentence snippets on Christianity until we can verify the information. Is that okay? Colipon+(T) 21:33, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Holiness tabernacles
It appears you might have created an article: 16:39, 23 July 2005 (hist) (diff) Holiness Tabernacles (Main source : World Christian Encyclopedia). I cannot make any sense of the content of this article. I have served as an official in holiness churches in America, and have a wide knowledge of the holiness movement. I know of no such denomination. Further, there are confusing and inaccurate statements. The article should be listed for deletion. Respectfully, R/T-รัก-ไทย (talk) 17:17, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest to rename that article to the title, with which I have created it.

Unreferenced BLPs
Hello Sarcelles! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 35 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 14 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. HI Sarcelles. I had nominated your article for Speedy deletion because, according to me (and I may be wrong), I felt you were attacking the citizens of India, by calling them religious persecutors. Going through the Wikipedia Policy, I feel that I incorrectly nominated your article. I still feel that you are not citing any references to support your claim, but I apologize for incorrectly nominating your article for speedy deletion. Thank you for bringing this to my notice. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you also fix the redirect. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Your Articles on Christianity in <an Indian state>
Many of the articles you started or the edits you made have been found to be in violation of Wikipedia Policies and Guidelines, especially those on Christianity in "u name a state in India". You have cited as sources in many of these articles from places that do not qualify as Wikipedia:Reliable Sources. A matter of note is that you have taken special care in including the sentence "There is Christian persecution in India" or so in the lead of many of the articles i pointed earlier; which is obviously Wikipedia:undue. Therefore i request and recommend that you take proper care to stick to Wikipedia policies and guidelines in the future. Thanks. (You may not respond to this. Uerdinger Linie
Hi, since you wrote most of the article Uerdingen line a long time ago: there are some ambiguous places in the description of the location of the line: Hermsdorf, Freidorf and Stoki. Do you know which places are meant (for instance close to which larger town)? Do you have a reference for this part of the article, and does this source mention more places, for instance between Bergneustadt and Halbe (that's quite a gap)? MarkussepTalk07:56, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Freidorf is apparently a part of Halbe. There are several possibilities for Hermsdorf, see de:Hermsdorf. Hermsdorf, Brandenburg seems too far south, then probably it's Hermsdorf near Münchehofe. That doesn't bring us to the Polish border yet, do you have more info about the course of the line there? MarkussepTalk16:01, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You are now a Reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
Hello,Sarcelles.Recently administrator had deleted the article Nigerian sectarian violence (where was my mistake - I added two links to information from the news blocks). Anyone can create a category. So you could create one for countries after the by country articles are created. However I would advise caution since it is not clear to me that there is a need to create those extra categories since we do not have a large number of articles on slums. Right now, readers would be better served by keeping the slum articles in one category. Vegaswikian (talk) 17:06, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
A tag has been placed on Heshan, Guangdong requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. JWs in Cuba
The grammar and spelling in your JWs in Cuba article is appalling, in addition to the concerns about the article's lack of notability raised previously. If the result of the current AfD is to keep, I will clean up the article, however it is most likely the case that the result will be to redirect the article to Religion in Cuba. I will therefore postpone further edits to the article.--Jeffro77 (talk) 12:15, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Sarcelles,
Referring to persecution of Christians in these articles is irrelevant, defamatory at worst and undue weight at best. It is not important for these topics because, for example, there is no direct link established in an independent source between Oriental Orthodoxy in India and persecution of Christians. And even if it were, there is bound to be many other things that could be writing about Oriental Orthodoxy in India. If it's actually a significant enough topic to have a separate article on, then there will be significant enough information about it: the history, famous people; just generally more than a sentence or two saying what is actually worth saying about the topic. In fact it does seem a notable topic. You can't just have an article which just has 2 sentences, one going "this exists" and the second going "look at this questionably related article". I am sure you agree that it is unreasonable to make half the content of Islam in Germany talking about Islamophobia#Germany and this is pretty much the same thing. For a lot of countries, the only place I see they're mentioned in relation to persecution of Christians is Open Doors which is an obviously biased Christian missionary organisation which basically acts as if pretty much any country which isn't Christian is persecuting them which is just ridiculous. And it just gives numbered statistics for the most part even, not any actual incidents that can be referred to. As you can see, I actually did leave the link for Saudi Arabia and only that because that actually makes something of sense. Look at this non-affiliated site news articles [2] for example. Regards, Munci (talk) 22:10, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Islamophobia in Germany is not as important for Islam in Germany as persecution of Christians in say India is for the Christians there. And in the ten commandments it says that one should not lie, which means that Open Doors can be cited. Sarcelles (talk) 08:25, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What proof do you have of such an assertation? Also, where's the link to the specific denomination? Really, it's more like linking from Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs to Islamophobia#Germany.
No that's not the way a WP:Reliable Source works at all. Just because one of the Ten Commandments is Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour doesn't mean everything they say is true. It could easily mean they sinned. And they could always be unaware of the truth themselves. Then they wouldn't be lying but they would still be telling falsehoods. With such an argument, would you say that the Spanish inquisition never happened because there's "Thou shalt not kill"?Munci (talk) 13:08, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am not saying the Spanish inquisition did not happen.
I am not denying the existence of persecution of Christians in India. I am denying that it is important to talk about it - and pretty much only it - in every single article even vaguely connected. If you want to write about, go to articles like Anti-Christian violence in India and actually use proper neutral sources. Like that STP source for example. Munci (talk) 20:02, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Persecution creates fear. The countries in the first 25 entries of Open Doors' world persecution list can be expected to have widespread discrimination of Christians. Sarcelles (talk) 16:21, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure you intend me to react to the first statement. In any case, Open Doors is just not a reliable source. If you want to talk about persecution, you should look at other sources that support claims. Also, one thing I had thought of: even talking persecution of Christians on the religion in Saudi Arabia is undue weight for a different reason: it's not just Christians that are persecuted there but any non-Muslim. So you'd have to talk about persecution of minority religions in that country rather than specifically one particular minority religion. Munci (talk) 17:24, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've just come across List of slums in Venezuela, and it looks like you've created a bunch of lists of this type. Apart form sourcing issues, there's a fundamental terminological issue with calling a place a "slum", which is pretty negative. "List of barrios" (the Venezuelan term) would be fine, but than it would still be in the "list of slums" category. This problem must apply in other cases too. I don't know what to suggest. Hi. I see you are the one who created Mo (religion) article which is Zhuang's religion. But Moism is not only practiced by the Zhuang but all Tai peoples who are not influenced by Buddhism and Hinduism. I've just made some edits on the Nùng people article. They are one of Tai ethnics who practice Moism and Animism. But I find the article has no section for religion and I myself have not much knowledge about this aspect, therefore I think you could help out with it (if you know any). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A tag has been placed on Socfin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Indonesia. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa🍁 (talk) 14:59, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Alif Oil requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Hello! Last year, you signed up to participate in Wikipedia Asian Month (WAM) 2016 on the English Wikipedia. The event was an international success, with hundreds of editors creating thousands of articles on Asian topics across dozens of different language versions of Wikipedia.
I'd like to invite you to join us for Wikipedia Asian Month 2017, which once again lasts through the month of November. The goal is for users to create new articles on Asian-related content, each at least 3,000 bytes and 300 words in length. Editors who create at least four articles will receive a Wikipedia Asian Month postcard!
Also be sure to check out the Wikipedia Asian Art Month affiliate event - creating articles on Asian art topics can get you a Metropolitan Museum of Art postcard!
If you're interested, please sign up here for the English Wikipedia. If you are interested in also working on other language editions of Wikipedia, please visit the meta page to see other participating projects. If you have any questions, please visit our talk page.
This will be the last message you receive from the English Wikipedia WAM team for being a 2016 participant. If you sign up for WAM 2017, you will continue receiving periodic updates on the 2017 event.

This article is in practice completely unsourced. I have tried and failed to find any mention at all that is not from JIL themselves. Both the references are to JIL's own website (and are, incidentally, dead links). The article has had to be indefinitely semiprotected because of persistent abuse (=promotion). The name has been changed, so see [3] for the protection log.

Actually, West-Frisian is a dialect, spoken in Noord-Holland, while Frisian is the language of Friesland. I will therefore revert your changes. Hope you don't mind!
Thanks for learning me something new. I did not realise that there was a bigger international context tovan be taken into account. In Dutch, when we say "Westfries", we mean West Frisian Dutch, while when we say "Fries", we mean West Frisian. That's why, for a Dutch person like me, it seemed incorrect to talk about West Frisian at first sight. I will revert my changes (when you did not do that already).

Article consists of only two sentences, of which most content was from an original edit in 2006. The re-education through labor program ended in 2013 yet is still presented here as if it is extant. There is little notability to this former prison aside from a 1980s New York Times article relating to what one can assume may be this prison, but may not be. The only source is a dead link to an Italian laogai-related website. For these reasons, I advocate for this article's deletion, since it has little to offer in terms of actual information at all, and has barely been changed, let alone updated since its creation in 2006 or the end of the re-education through labor program in 2013.

Hi Sarcelles, and thanks for your tireless work at List of political parties in France. I'm afraid I have some bad news for you: unfortunately, I had to remove several dozen edits of yours at the article, going back to mid-December, because these edits unfortunately either lacked a source, or they attempted to cite articles on French Wikipedia as the source, or cited Wikipedia mirror sites like EverbodyWiki. No self-published source, including Wikipedia or any Wikimedia sister project, such as French Wikipedia, may be used to support material added to articles at English Wikipedia; please see WP:Wikipedia is not a reliable source for details.
Just to be clear: it is perfectly okay to copy content from one English WP article to another, or to translate material from another language Wikipedia; but you need to include a citation to a reliable source, *even if the other Wikipedia does not*. French Wikipedia, and all foreign Wikipedias, have their own set of rules, and if they don't require verifiability or citations, then that's their business; however, at English Wikipedia, WP:Verifiability is policy, and if you import material from other articles, you need to include citations. In the case of rows in the table at List of political parties in France, you would generally need one citation per row (i.e., per political party), or possibly more, if one citation doesn't cover all the data in the table row. Please do not add any material to List of political parties in France (or any other article) without keeping WP:Verifiability in mind.
One other thing regarding copying/translating content: Wikipedia's licensing requirements requires that all copied or translated content be accompanied by an attribution statement in the edit summary. For translated content, you can find a model attribution statement here. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 05:42, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
