It is easiest to use the "Add topic" link at the top of a talk page and "[ reply ]" link following each post but you may edit this page directly if you follow the above-mentioned guidelines.
If you choose to edit the page directly, please observe the following in addition to anything else in the above-mentioned guidelines:
Please indent your posts with one more ":" than what you are replying to, i.e. begin with ":" if replying to an existing topic and "::" if replying to a reply.
Regarding replies and notifications:
I will generally respond here to comments that are posted here, rather than replying via your Talk page (or the article Talk page, if you are writing to me here about an article), so you may want to watch this page until you are responded to, or use the "[ subscribe ]" link by each thread heading,or specifically let me know where you'd prefer the reply.
If I left you a message; please answer on the page where the message was left, using {{ping|Username}}, {{reply to|Username}} or {{u|Username}} in your response, or add {{talkback|Username}} or {{whisperback|Username}} to my talk page. If you leave me a message here, I will answer here on my talk page, notifying you in the same manner.

Give me an hour or two to look into it. Maybe you were right all along? Maybe the use of dmy in the article was well-intended, but is contrary to normal styling practice in the area. Since you have started a talk page discussion, it would look better not to rush things, i.e. not changing the date format again before someone has joined the discussion and agreed. And if the format needs to be changed, I can do it using a script, which saves a lot of time. Best, SamSailor15:40, 27 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That would be so great. The practice of using the default formats as mentioned in the article's talk page have been used in many other articles in the area. Also, every time I change it back, there are some users, particularly 218.250.200.1, always jump in to change it to dmy. I don't know why, this happens every time, but they could have just minded their own business. I don't know if the discussion will attract at least somebody, especially when I've also put it in Talk:2025 Pacific typhoon season, but hopefully I receive good replies. Researching historical women writers who used pseudonyms requires careful investigation across multiple sources, as many women adopted pen names to avoid gender bias and judgment (e.g., being labeled a bluestocking) and, ultimately, to get published.
