@Smasongarrison I'm sorry for the mistakes. Is there a rule that you can point me to? Unfortunately, I have never come across it.

It's fine. There are general guidelines and consistent consensus that categories should have more than one page in them. WP:BEFORECAT might be helpful. The issue is that there aren't enough people in the category on English wikipedia. I tried to populate them, but as a rule of thumb, there should be several pages. If you can't find enough pages to populate the category, then the category probably doesn't need to exist yet. ^SMason_Garrison 22:09, 22 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm still a little confused about something: I just noticed that the category contains not just a single page, but also a sub-category (Category:Venezuelan science writers). Very reasonable question! It's still a candidate, and the CFD will debate the merits of whether there's added value to this communicator category.
