How many warnings is ClueBot supposed to wait for before filing a report to AIV? I always thought it was 4 but a couple of times recently I've noticed the report after a level 3 warning. Hello! I recently set up my talk page to be indexed by ClueBot III. However, it generated an extremely unusual index, so now the archive box is ridiculously long and links to what seem to be some of the first (alphabetical — they all start with punctuation) pages on Wikipedia. I dont understand what i did wrong, i did the fourth time a edit summary for justify my choices but you apparently dont want to take care about them. Please tell le why.

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. It means that you've not provided a source to back up your changes, although it was Materialscientist that warned you for that and not ClueBot. ClueBot warned you for possible vandalism here and again possible vandalism here. Please be aware that ClueBot is not a human editor and as such it works on how probable it is that an edit is vandalism. For what it's worth, I agree with both of ClueBot's reverts there.

Materialscientist reverted you here because you changed the number of students but didn't provide a source to back up your changes. Wikipedia works on verifiability, as your edit couldn't be verified it was reverted.

You also asked about ClueBot NG at ANI. I've closed your discussion, while your edits weren't vandalism, the bot also did nothing wrong therefore there's nothing further for an administrator to do. Hi, for the page Wikipedia:Article Rescue Squadron – Rescue list Cluebot III is now successfully archiving starting with archive 23. However having trouble displaying the old archive pages ("/Archive 1..22") in the index box. Or, displaying the new archive page in the old Index box ("/Archives 23") - note: Misza is "/Archive #" and Cluebot III is "/Archives #" even though ClueBot III was defined to use "/Archive #". So, I am now using both old and new index boxes. Is this the only/best way? -- GreenC 16:12, 13 December 2020 (UTC)

The easiest way to mark information in an article with "citation needed" is to write {{cn}} (that is, double curly braces around the letters "cn") after the information that lacks a citation.
