Hi, I love the new BART map that was added to the article but it has a few mistakes or omissions. It does not include the Oakland Airport connector that is currently under construction including the Oakland International Airport BART station, nor does it include the Warm Springs, Berryessa, or Milpitas on the Warm Springs and San Jose extensions that are both under construction, it also omits the new eBART extention Antioch station, in addition to the proposed Livermore Extension and it's two stations Vasco & Livermore in addition to the other proposed stations at Calaveras, Irvington, Pittsburg, and Doolittle. The map also incorrectly states how the service beyond Daly City or SFO on the Richmond-Millbrae and Pittsburg/Bay Point-SFO lines respectively operates. It's weekday and saturday nights and all day sunday. The map also leaves out the Downtown San Jose/Santa Clara extension and the intermodal connections with Capitol Corridor, Amtrak, VTA light rail, and SF Muni, and ferries.LuciferWildCat (talk) 23:24, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

In this context, it is a community that doesn't have its own independent government. See Unincorporated community (New Jersey). It is not legally recognized as a municipality, and thus doesn't have an independent municipal government. Hopewell Township is the municipality and has the municipal government. Compare, for example, Pennington, New Jersey. The community of Pennington formed a new distinct municipality for its community, and has its own municipal government. Every single California municipality in Wikipedia has in its Demographics section the numbers and percentages of same-sex couples and unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, as in an example I have copied below from Bakersfield, California.

"There were 111,132 households, out of which 51,995 (46.8%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 57,276 (51.5%) were opposite-sex married couples living together, 18,049 (16.2%) had a female householder with no husband present, 7,829 (7.0%) had a male householder with no wife present. There were 8,159 (7.3%) unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, and 845 (0.8%) same-sex married couples or partnerships. 21,800 households (19.6%) were made up of individuals and 7,354 (6.6%) had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.10. There were 83,154 families (74.8% of all households); the average family size was 3.56."

Would you please be able to program this in for all New Jersey municipalities? There is no excuse for all New Jersey towns and cities not having this information in their Wikipedia articles. Thanks!!!173.63.176.93 (talk) 10:48, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

I copied the above message that was left on my talk page a few days ago. If you could add these fields as described above to the end of [[1]], I could update the template to add these fields to the text. It would be a no-brainer as long as you can grab the necessary fields. Let me know if this is doable. I've made major progress on updating Census 2010 and other historical data for New Jersey municipalities and thank you again for making so much of this possible. Hey Alan, sorry for the delayed response on this. Haven't had time to contribute in a while. The same-sex demographics are not part of the Census data proper, they are part of the American Community Survey. ACS is not asked to every household and is asked outside of the decennial census process. There is a ton of other ACS data that could be provided as well, and it is updated far more often than the census. Since it is not asked to every household, it introduces statistical error. We would have to include a +/- error figure and IMO it should not be confused with actual census data. It would be a big project to properly interpret and select ACS data for inclusion in articles. I think that is outside of scope. What do you think? I've got the county data in the spreadsheet now and will add it to the list of templates shortly. --ChrisRuvolo (t) 16:57, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

CR, welcome back! Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I see that you're working on the Bergen County, New Jersey article, one that needs much work. I've pulled data from the 2006-2010 ACS for income and poverty data, and created a spreadsheet to build the wiki format with margins of error included. I'm about 60% of the way through updating articles with Census 2010 and other data, having just worked on the municipalities in Monmouth County. Take a look and let me know what you think. I see that you created this stub about the Etruscan alphabet back in the day (so long ago!), complete with various abbreviated references to the technical literature, such as Rix and Jensen, which are still present in the current version of the article, now titled Old Italic script. However, you forgot to add the titles of the works referenced to, and have not done so later, either, so the references are now hanging in the air and no-one knows for certain what you meant, and as a consequence (and due to the dearth of further expert input since then), the article is still left without any proper bibliographical references. Could you recover them from your memory and add them after all this time? That would be awesome! --Florian Blaschke (talk) 13:04, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

Chris, What is the problem that the 60 meter band page needs a 'clean -up'? Could you be more specific please. So far as I'm aware everything is up to date - unfortunately, in the case of some items, like Canada, for instance, the process is quite long-winded, so it isn't easy to be concise without omitting facts/history. The long frequency list tables were not my idea I think the format I use in the Worldwide 5 MHz/60m Allocation Chart in the 'External Links' is a far easier one to follow

Hi Paul. I added the reasons to the wikify template. Let me reproduce them for you here:

• lacks wikilinks in many paragraphs
• uses external links where wikilinks should be used
• current citations formatted as external links should use <ref> formatting and appropriate :templates ({{cite news}}, etc.)
• includes a primary source in-line
• general compliance with the manual of style

The only content issue is the use of a primary source document in-line. Most of the cleanup needed is about formatting, internal links, and citations. Cheers. --ChrisRuvolo (t) 17:22, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi guys, I thought it would be relevant considering especially Lego and Hans Christian Anderson are danish and oriented towards children. So excusing that architectural models are significant to the buildings page, please pardon me. However, I have as far as I know I've created and cross referenced the only catalog of the few hundred or so NYC, DC, San Fran,etc., buildings they feature. How about a page featuring a table with thumbnails of both the model and actual buildings, address, park, emporis etc, etc? I'd be very excited to start it. --it1224

Wonder if you could offer an opinion. While it seems the Hackensack Drawbridge will be fine in RfD, both its original author and I think the more appropriate name would HD Draw, which is consistent with naming convention for rail bridges over the Hack and Passaic, many of which are not "officially" named, but rather are referred to by railroad terminology taken from their respective control towers. This info is only lightly supported, the convention does help to disambiguate the many bridges that have been called for example the Hackensack Drawbridge or the Passaic River Bridge.
