Ha, are you kidding me, I was improving on the article which is very choppy with info placed in random spots where it doesn't need to be, I was making it more orderly, what r u the boss of how Teletoon should be written or something? MusiMax 05:51, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

I was uploading a better quality picture to the article, the one that is in use is bad quality, the person who edited it obviously can't edit a simple picture. Look closely and you'll see there is a chunk took out of the "T" at the top. Granted it is minor but none-the-less it is still messed up. My picture is a true quality. The province of Nova Scotia does not use the Provincial Highway Shields for Nova Scotia leg of the Trans-Canada Highway.

My bad. I saw the original shield for Nova Scotia Highway 102, and I thought it looked kinda crappy so I used it as an excuse to play around with Inkscape. After I made one, it was easy to make a bunch more, so I made one for every NS highway article. Cmprince 05:48, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi Cavenba. I was about to go propose the deletion of the troublesome shields, but I see you're a step ahead of me. Does Nova Scotia use the same format for 104, 105, and 106 that you proposed on the "NS-105" deletion page, or is that just for 104? Me again. Please take a look at Nova Scotia Highway 104 and let me know if you have any comments on the new shield. It's PNG, not SVG (the wiki software didn't want to render it properly), but I an SVG copy is also uploaded if you want to play around with it. At risk of sounding slightly obsessive, is there supposed to be a hyphen in "TRANS-CANADA"? The British Columbia standards show a hyphen, but a photo on eBay shows a New Brunswick sign without one. -Cmprince 05:08, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Do you want to at least give a reason for the reversion? The story of the Nick Gisburne banning leading to a video pull of Anangel13 then of RabidApe is convoluted and is best explained by the people who it is happening to. Your recent revert of my edit caught me in the middle of trying to get at a botched vandalism revert by an anon. Are you running a bot here or do you not follow up on your reverts, especially when implying an admin is vandalising a page. Now please check the recent history there to see what was happening. I appreciate your vandalism fighting efforts, but would suggest that you check the facts a bit closer before adding your canned message to my or another experienced users page. Thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia, including tagging inappropriately created pages for deletion. I just deleted a page that you tagged with the note "see What Wikipedia is NOT". That was a correct tag but in this particular instance, the page contained nothing but personal attacks on a non-notable person and therefore could have been tagged as db-attack (see WP:Attack page) instead or in addition. Normally it doesn't matter so much which tag you use because the reviewing administrator will review the page and make his or her own judgment anyway, but in the case of attack pages it does help to use that tag, because that type of pages is considered very serious and they are listed a special category that we check frequently for prompt deletion. Regarding User 203.47.250.138, it is a public IP of a school. There are many students that attend this school. It would be great if it could be permanently blocked from editing wikipedia, but as wikipedia is a well used source for school research, we would still need to retain read privledges. Hello fellow Wikipedia:WikiProject_Nova_Scotia member. I have recently lodged a Request for Comments on the Talk:Halifax, Nova Scotia page. I and several other editors have had a running dispute with user Lonewolf BC. The RFC is This is a dispute about whether it is accurate to continue to refer to the area of or approximately coinciding with the boundaries of the City of Halifax, which became a part of the rural/urban Halifax Regional Municipality in 1996, as a city.

Basically, as I say on the RFC, we all agree that this is no longer a City, but to use former City's boundaries when describing the current urban area as a "city" (note the lower case) is at best arbitrary and at worst a fabrication. The city is now a continuous area that wraps the harbour, from Portuguese Cove (outside of the city of Halifax to the west and south) to Cole Harbour (outside of the former City of Dartmouth to the east). People now refer to the entire urban area of Halifax Regional Municipality as 'the city' and 'Halifax'.

Anyway, the bottom line is at least five people have tried to change the wording of the intro since January, and every time this one user changes it back. I have tried to come up with compromise wording, and he won't dialog. Right now wikipedia says HRM and Halifax are the capital of Nova Scotia. This article is now factually incorrect, in my opinion, and I need your help, please chime in. WayeMason 23:08, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Cavenba, I think you correctly removed the binary prefixes from that article and gave the correct reason for doing so. What the user above has not mentioned is that this specific issue is being discussed here Wikipedia_talk:Manual of Style (dates and numbers)#Conflict with Manual of Style. You cite the MoS and so this is a conflict of style. The MoS is very clear on conflicts of style and it says the original style should be used in those situations. The editor correctly made the change. Fnagaton 10:33, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
