The confusion between executive and legislative powers seems to partly be an effect of the nature of the transition, and partly a result of mainstream media not trying to get their sources to clarify things. For anyone wanting legal clarity, the present version of this template won't be satisfying: real life politics clearly did not quite match ideal legal theory. Feel free to make improvements in the clarity if possible. Hopefully the template will help guide the reader to the reality that the situation is not as simple as "GNA" vs "LNA", Sarraj vs Haftar, in terms of our existing Wikipedia articles.
