Rommel Rodrigues
Rommel Rodrigues is an Indian author, film director, screenwriter,[1] and producer based in Mumbai. He has worked as a journalist for several Indian newspapers, covering crime, business, politics, and current affairs. He served until early 2024 as the official spokesperson and head of media & communication for the Mumbai Regional Congress Committee, a branch of the Indian National Congress.[2] As an author, he has written several books, including Kasab: The Face of 26/11,[3][4][5] detailing the 2008 Mumbai attacks, published by Penguin Random House, Everything You Wanted to Know About Business & Economics,[6][7] and Illusion of Justice - 18-Steps Program to Overhaul the Indian Judicial System, published by Thomson Reuters. Additionally, he has edited several books including The Market Mafia: Chronicle of India's High-Tech Stock Market Scandal & The Cabal That Went Scot-Free by journalist Palak Shah, which exposes financial fraud in India.[8][9] He co-wrote and worked as an associate director for The Attacks of 26/11, a film directed by Ram Gopal Varma, which was released in 2013.[10][11] He also produced and directed the Marathi film Gurukul, which was based on his own script.[12][13][14] Bibliography
