Roderick FenskeRoderick Fenske is an American–British film director. He works primarily in commercials and short films, with his work recognized at international advertising festivals including the Cannes Lions and D&AD.[1][2] CareerFenske began his career as a creative director at St. Luke's London, where he worked on album artwork and music videos for Dave Stewart's record label. At TBWA London, he transitioned into directing full-time, supported by advertising executive Trevor Beattie.[3] He later joined the Swedish directing collective ACNE. His commercial projects have screened at major advertising festivals such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, Eurobest, AICP, and Clio.[1] Short filmsFenske wrote and directed I’m Dead, You’re Welcome (2024), which won Best Comedy Short at the Flagstaff International Film Festival.[3] His earlier short What Do We Do? (2019) was screened internationally and received awards at the Sofia International Film Festival (2023) and the Tokyo International Short Film Festival (2022).[4] Other works include Bethlehem, PA (2013) and Norman Lear: A Mini-Doc (2018). Feature film debutFenske is set to make his feature directorial debut with the comedy film Holy Molé, scheduled for release in 2026.
