Pushkar Sharma (cricketer)
Pushkar Shivkumar Sharma, also known as Puoshkar Sharma,[1] is a Kenyan cricketer[2] who has played for the Kenya national cricket team.[3] Sharma, who was born in India, captained the Mumbai Under-16 cricket team.[4][5] In 2019, he moved to Kenya and joined Ruaraka Sports Club. He played in the Nairobi Province Cricket Association league, where he became the top scorer with 841 runs in 14 innings.[6] He was selected for the Kenya national cricket team in 2022,[7][8] making his international debut opening the batting for Kenya in the 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifiers.[9] He played in the 2025 Pearl of Africa T20 Series series[10] and for the Kenyan team at the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League later in the year.[11][12] FamilySharma married Sita Mishra on 7 December 2023.[13] The couple had their first child in 2024.[14] He lives in Nairobi and works as a marketing manager.[15] References
