Subdivision of fungi
Kickxellomycotina is a fungus grouping.[ 1] In the subkingdom of Zoopagomyceta Benny, 2007 .[ 1]
The name was changed from "Harpellomycotina", because "Kickxellomycotina" had an older stem.[ 2] It came from the genus Kickxella , named after Jean Kickx .[ 3]
Orders include Asellariales , Kickxellales , Dimargaritales , and Harpellales .
