At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 8,435 in 2,033 households.[6] There were 7,830 inhabitants in 2,347 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 7,491 in 2,395 households. The most populous of its seven villages was Khezerlu, with 3,505 people.[2]
