At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 18,066 in 4,876 households.[6] There were 19,318 inhabitants in 5,761 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 19,716 in 6,128 households. The most populous of its 25 villages was Mirabad, with 2,758 people.[2]
